Okay, so here’s the thing…

I was super excited to watch The Old Guard 2.

I mean, I absolutely loved the first one. It had everything – action, emotion, a solid story.

So I planned it all out. Got the popcorn ready, adjusted the lighting, and settled in for what I thought would be another great ride.

But… yeah, it didn’t go as expected.

The whole movie felt like it was just laying the groundwork for a third part.

And honestly, that’s disappointing.

My late-night movie tradition continued with Raid 2. I really wanted to love it like the first one, but it just fell short. Honestly, it could have been pretty decent, if it wasn’t for this one thing that just kept breaking the entire flow…

It was good and felt very real.

It’s based on the true story of Costao Fernandiz, a customs officer from Goa.

The story is set in the 1980s and shows the journey of an honest officer who gets entangled with a powerful person, and how he overcomes it, along with all the struggles he faces.

I watched it mainly because of Nawazuddin Siddiqui.

He’s such a fantastic actor, and he always seems to choose the best scripts—except Freaky Ali, of course.

So, there I was last night, scrolling through Netflix.

I was really in the mood for an action movie, but you know how it is. I just kept on scrolling, always thinking there might be something even better waiting for me.

I think I’ve almost watched every good action movie on Netflix, I guess.

I mean, I definitely feel like it. Every time I open the app, I swear I can’t find anything I haven’t already seen.

Anyway, I saw this thriller and decided to read a bit more about it.
